“The Return of the Jitney Man” is the beginning track on the acclaimed 2009 album “Watts” by Jeff “Tain” Watts. This track and the album also featureTerence Blanchard, Branford Marsalis, and Christian McBride. To produce this video the artists used a broad range of methods and styles, including stop-motion animation, keying, claymation, and original digital backgrounds.
We are very pleased to announce that our music video project "The Return of the Jitney Man" has won the award for best music video at the New York International Film Festival. We would like to thank Jeff "Tain" Watts for his amazing song which made it easy to have a creative vision, and Laura Kahle for her support and organization during the collaboration.
